How?: How To Handle Unexpected Baby Hamsters

Today we are going to talk about "unexpected" baby hamsters!

You may be thinking that "How can an owner never knew his/her hamster was pregnant?!"

Must have an explanation for that question. ლ(ಠ_ಠლ)

That can cause because the owner didn't held his/her hamster frequently. That was just a guess, guys.

Or the hamster was pregnant at the time the owner bought it! <----- more logic explanation here!

You know, most pet shops put male and female hamsters in one cage. So, there is a possibility for most hamsters to be pregnant. But if the pet store the owner bought did not mixed genders of hamsters, there must be an explanation.

Hamsters can't be homosexual. But some animals are. Probably. (finger-crossed!)

The pet shop must have accidentally mixed it. One male hamster can mate a lot of female hamsters. Playboy, huh? But it's nature~!

It is kind of hard to identify male and female hamsters. (Seriously??)

The Problems:

The owners's hamster already gave birth. The owner is shocked. The owner did not make any preparations in case she was pregnant. So, what to do now?

Best to not bother them for one week from the day they were born.
They are blind. So, they cannot see anything. DO NOT TOUCH THEM. Some people say if the mama hamster trusts you, the mama hamster will not eat her babies. But of you do it, it will be quite a risk. So, best to not touch them. (╯°□°)╯And please do not clean mama hamster's cage, under any circumstances

Let's just say that the cage is not cleaned yet. And very dirty. And probably the owner was scared that some of the baby hamsters would get lost in that big pile of mess (∿°○°)∿
Actually, I think that the mother hamster will take care of them. But if you see any baby hamsters crawling away from the mother and the mama hamster doesn't realized it, just let it be. She'll know if her babies are missing. (*´▽`*)

That's all the problems, right?

So don't worry! Just care for them like any other baby hamsters and when it reaches 5 weeks, you are ready to sell or give it away!

Okay! That's all! Assalamualaikum! Bye!
